Must be a great handyman!! Maintain outdoor furniture, light fixtures, and planters. Clear walkways of debris (snow, leaves, etc). Familiar with household mechanical systems and perform routine inspections: Pool and spa. Understand control panels and functions.

Assist housekeepers with heavy duty cleaning
Greet and receive family and guests
Supervise children and their friends when in the pool areas (indoor and outdoor)
Work closely with chef for kitchen operations, set and serve dinner
Drives family or staff, runs errands
Experience in wine varietals and wine service
Maintain silverware inventory and email it to estate manager
Be familiar with emergency response, alarm system and power outage procedures
5 years experience or more needed in a formal home

Schedule:
Thursday – Monday / 50 hrs per week (Live-In 3xs a week)

A family is looking to hire an experienced hands-on Caretaker to oversee their very large property in Greenwich, CT. The position can be live-in at the 3-bedroom guest house, including with the candidate’s wife and kids. This is an amazing expanse of 30 acres plus with manicured lawns and wild grass and requires an individual who enjoys nature and who is highly resourceful. Responsibilities include: systems and buildings maintenance (2 main residences plus guest house), grounds management, mowing of grass, pool maintenance working on tractors, vendor supervision, vehicle upkeep, shoveling of snow. The Caretaker will also be responsible for overseeing landscaping crews and other subcontractors. While not required, the ability to carry out some of the landscaping work is a plus. Compensation package includes a competitive salary, and private accommodations. It’s a year-round position.
