When is the Right Time to Move On and Find a New Job?

Sometimes we wait too long to recognize the situation and we just end up making bad decisions. From the moment you get the feeling that its time to move on, we just don’t know how, when or what to do? Of course, most people can’t afford to leave a job from one day to another! But delaying the process can be detrimental to yourself and others. So here are some warnings and advice you can take into consideration to make the ride smoother.
 
Warnings:

• Already thinking to start searching for a new position.
• Always complaining about your job.
• Not being proactive, lack of passion.
• Daydreaming calculating the months, years about retirement.
• The position does not satisfy you emotionally.
• Stress symptoms.
• Hard to wake up and start the day (one of my favorites).
• Constant bickering with other staff.

And yes we all know this list continues on and on and on!
So let’s be positive and take a look at the recommendations below.
 
Advice:

• The hardest part: “MAKE UP YOUR MIND!”
• Take time to plan your job search.
• Be prepared, update your resume and get some recommendations from previous jobs.
• Try your best to find yourself economically balance or have a back up.
• Keep a healthy and professional relationship with your current boss.
• Before turning your resignation letter, you can already start searching carefully for a new position. Just remember always to be professional and give sometime for your boss to find a replacement.
• Check on unemployment benefits.
• Remember to be humble.
