This elderly lady at a famous apartment building on the Upper East Side is looking for a terrific experienced housekeeper/cook/laundress who can handle a very formal household, work well with staff, treat antiques, polish silver, serve formally, cook lunch and dinner daily, follow recipes, plan meals, laundry and ironing. A great opportunity for a qualified candidate. The position requires living-in 2-3 days per week, but the schedule is only 40 hours per week.

5 days flexible, 2-3 days live-in
Salary: $65,000

It’s a formal household with art and antiques, so prior references in similar homes is required. The candidate must be legal, seek long-term, have an upbeat and happy personality, take initiative and have great communication skills and be flexible. Summers are spent in the Hamptons and traveling to the UK and Caribbean are part of the deal.

Mon-Fri (with occasional Saturdays) live-in
$75,000 plus all benefits, 2 weeks vacation and excellent bonus
