This busy family on a large estate in Kings Point is looking for a hardworking and skilled assistant house manager who can be very hands-on, has good presentation, has at least 5 years experience in formal homes, 3-5 years with one family, can oversee staff, plan events and parties for up to 70 guests.
The successful candidate will work with the estate manager, set formal table and serve, manage staff schedules, supervise and train employees, manage proposals and contracts, organize his and hers closets, help pack luggage for travel. Some butler and valet duties are required.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day, Saturday/Sunday off (Monday/Tuesday off during the summer) and two days are live-in during the week.
The ideal candidate has great presentation, perfect English skills both written and spoken, can drive with own car, can sleep-in 2-3 days a week and has great interpersonal skills. He or she should have a quiet demeanor, respect privacy and be discreet at all times, have a service mentality, and be able to pitch in everywhere.
Schedule: Flexible schedule, 2 days off.
Salary: $100,000-$120,000 per year plus health insurance and 401K.
