A live-in/live-out Assistant House Manager is needed!

Schedule: Monday to Friday during Fall/Winter and Wednesday to Sunday during the Summer.
 
Family Consists of: 2 adults, a teenager, and a dog.
 
Requirements/Duties:

• Must be legal and able to drive.
• Must have a clean background.
• Must have experience working as a team.
• Must be able to work as a Houseman when the Houseman is on vacation.
• Must be flexible with scheduling.
• Must be able to perform Butler duties.
• Must have knowledge of cleaning high-end furniture, artwork, silver, china, and linen.
• Must be able to set and serve a formal table.
• Must be able to pack/unpack, perform pet care, greet the guests, answer the phone, and act as the gatekeeper.
• Must have knowledge of wines and liquors.
• Must have verifiable references and formal experience is necessary.
• Must have a clean background, including driving.

Salary: $120,000 per year (Gross) with excellent benefits including a 401K plan.

Who: A “family” and their large Hamptons estate all year round. A semi-formal household who is busy during the season. This is a fully staffed home. The family is known for their generosity & graciousness!
 
What: Must be a great handyman! Maintain outdoor furniture, light fixtures, and planters. Must clear walkways of debris (snow, leaves, etc.) Must be familiar with household mechanical systems and perform routine inspections of the pool and spa. Must understand control panels and their functions.

• Must assist Housekeepers with heavy duty cleaning.
• Must greet and receive the family.
• Must work closely with chef and other staff!
• Must be able to drive family or staff around, plus running other errands.
• Experience in wine varieties and wine service is a big plus!
• Must have 5 years of experience or more in a formal home.
• Must have excellent references with contact information.

 
When/Schedule: 5 day work week, live-in with excellent quarters provided on property. Flexibility must be based on seasonal needs.
 
Salary: $75,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.

This generous family with 4 children and a small dog is looking for a handy Houseman/Butler who can do heavy duty work inside and outside the property. This is a formal household with a large staff. It requires a strong and fit person with skills fixing things around the house, walkway, and garden. The other part of the job is serving and table setting formally and doing all regular Butler duties. Must drive and have a clean driving record. This is a live-out position with 3 days live-in per week. This position is only for qualified applicants with experience in similar households.
 
Salary: $75,000-$80,000 per year plus Health Insurance and a 401(k).
