The successful candidate is flexible and free of attachments, has a pleasant demeanor, is energetic with good skills, with excellent English and a sweet disposition. It’s a great job in a low-pressure environment.

This elderly lady at a famous apartment building on the Upper East Side is looking for a terrific experienced housekeeper/cook/laundress who can handle a very formal household, work well with staff, treat antiques, polish silver, serve formally, cook lunch and dinner daily, follow recipes, plan meals, laundry and ironing. A great opportunity for a qualified candidate. The position requires living-in 2-3 days per week, but the schedule is only 40 hours per week.

Summers are spent in the Hamptons and traveling to the UK and Caribbean are part of the deal.
