It’s World Cup Season!

Every four years an event occurs that gets the planet buzzing. For four weeks it seems to be all that anyone can talk about. A round spherical object tapped and passed across an 100 yard field constantly trying to find its way into an 8 by 24 foot net. The World Cup is here folks. While sadly our dear USA didn’t qualify this time, we still find ourselves right in the middle of this beautiful tournament as our country is home to millions who have ties to countries participating this year. While some homes unite during this time, it’s popular to see some divided households that feature people from different nations. In the domestic staffing industry this can be much more fun to watch. Larger households with staffs containing different ethnicities can bring some energy this summer. It’s up to the household to determine whether it’ll be good energy or bad energy. The tournament is meant to be in good fun, but it’s easy to see people get carried away with reactions. It’s up to those in charge to remind their staff about the brighter side of sportsmanship and professionalism. Doing so will ensure an enjoyable tournament for everyone involved. As long as the ball keeps rolling we’ll all have fun!
